I’m Martin Kibisu, a father, husband, accountant, student and a techprenuer. I’m was an employee of Kencall Centre before I decided to venture into entreprenuership to ensure I have a stable and dependable income. I used to earn close to Ksh20,000 and with all deduction I could remain with 16000. By 15th I would be broke again depending and waiting for the end month.
One December afternoon in 2016 I started #IkoKaziKE, a hash tag popular on twitter that has made job hunting easier. One of the concerns that have been raised is about how in this day and age it is possible to get a job without “Kujuana”. A culture in Kenya that is costing many youths opportunities that they are qualified for.
